Somatic Self-Care Women's Retreat

We will go into a journey of nervous system regulation, working with fascia and reconnecting with your body in the ways of somatic movement, meditation/visualisation and breathing excercises. You will learn with theory and practice how to bring your body efficiently to it's natural rest & recovery state, and bring these skills as part of your daily life or even add them to your teaching repertoire, if wellness is also something you work with

optimizing rest & recovery

Ecorelax Fuerteventura  is located in a quiet rural area only 15 minutes away from the dunes and beaches of Corralejo, and is ideal for relaxation and enjoying the concept of ecological and peaceful accommodation, with traditional Canarian architecture and outside of overcrowded urban centers. Thanks to the solar panels most of the villa’s electricity consumption comes from the sun and all the water consumed is used to irrigate the garden, for which the villa also uses rainwater.  The eco villa is fortunate to have unique views of the east coast of Lanzarote, the Natural Park Isla de Lobos, piteras plantations and volcanoes.

Fuerteventura is all about nature in its purest state, volcanic landscapes, beautiful beaches of turquoise water and golden, white or black sand. It is known for its protected spaces and light and sun all year round, the island of eternal spring. Fuerteventura’s Starlight Reserve is famous for the quality of its night sky, ideal for stargazing. A paradise declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Accomodation in beautiful  suites in the eco villa. Each 45m2 suite has a terrace, two single beds, bathroom, mini fridge and a kettle, and comfortably accomodates two participants. If you would rather like to reserve a private room, please send an email!


The retreat program will immerse you into the world of somatic self-care, combining movement, visualization/meditation and breathwork practises. We are starting the days with nice yoga to get energy flowing in the body, followed up with short morning meditation. After breakfast we have a workshop, in which we get into themes of nervous system regulation, working with fascia etc., in theory and practice. The evening class is a full somatic movement class, to bring the body and mind into rest and recovery state. In the free time you can enjoy the pool and other facilities of the villa, or go out and explore Fuerteventura with your new friends (Fuerteventura is famous for it's surf, so you might want to check that out!)



In addition to the classes and workshops, one evening we are going a stargazing with a guide to dunes of Correlejo, to enjoy the magic of the night. This tour includes a guide, rugs and blankets, telescope and laser pointer. 

Day hike

In the middle of the retreat we are going to take a one day to go for a day hike to fully enjoy the beautiful nature of Fuerteventura. The duration of the hike is approximately 3-4 hours, and it is accessible without much hiking experience (but bring a good walking shoes!).

What is included:
- 3 meals a day during the full days of the course (breakfast, lunch & dinner). In the day of arrival we have dinner and in last day a breakfast. 
- Accomodation for 6 nights in beautiful villa in Fuerteventura (each suite is shared between 2 students).

- the full retreat program, including 5 yoga and meditation classes, 5 somatic movement classes, 4 workshops, stargazing tour and day hike.

- Transportation between EcoRelax and Fuerteventura airport (at specific times)



1200€ full course program with shared accomodation in double room suite (sleeps 2)

Reserve by paying a deposit of 250€, and the remaining 950€ is to be paid by starting of the course.

Aino López

Aino López is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga and meditation teacher trained with Mantra Yoga & Meditation in Nepal, has BA in Dance from Institute of the Arts Barcelona and is certified somatic movement instructor (Movingness).  She is passionate about movement as a medicine for the body and soul, and blends techniques from Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, contemporary dance, somatic movement, breathwork, meditation and embodiment practises.


Aino guides her students with joy and compassion, giving you tools to embody peacefulness, to move in awareness and let go of tension in mind and body. She believes that by exploring everyone can find their own natural way of enjoying movement, and feels called to help her students towards more joyful living with ease and lightness, using practises that helps to go deeply within yourself when experiencing your body and emotions, refining your movement patterns and learning how to express freely through the body.


The core essence of her classes is to stay connected with yourself, as it brings you naturally to a state of flow and enjoyment, which can then be brought to your everyday life.
